AABRI Journal Directories

AABRI continuously strives to improve the quality of our publications and expand their recognition in the academic community. To support this goal, AABRI partners with multiple academic-journal listing services and directories. Each of these directories defines specific acceptance requirements and quality standards for academic journals prior to listing.

AABRI journals are currently listed in the following directories:

Cabell Publishing, Inc. WHITELIST
Founded in 1978 with the goal of helping professors, graduate students and researchers to publish their manuscripts in academic journals. To achieve this objective the company strives to maintain current contact information on the addresses, phones, faxes, e-mails and websites for a large number of journals. Also, the company seeks to provide information on publication guidelines, review information (source - Cabell's Website, 2010). All ten of the AABRI family of journals are in the Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities Whitelist.

ERIC - Education Resources Information Center
The ERIC Selection Policy establishes the standards and criteria for selecting materials for inclusion in the ERIC collection. It states broad collection goals and defines the standards and criteria required of approved sources and individual materials in the ERIC digital library. The purpose of the selection policy is to provide consistency in the approach for reviewing and selecting sources and individual items, and clearly communicate policy and process to staff, users, publishers, and individual submitters of material.

This policy was released in January 2014 and applies to new materials added to ERIC. No previously published records in ERIC will be removed as a result of this selection policy. As of April 2014, the following list of journals and non-journals are approved to be indexed in ERIC. New sources will be reviewed for inclusion based on the new selection policy twice a year. (source - ERIC Selection Policy, January, 2015).

In 2018 the following active AABRI education journals were invited to be included in the ERIC repository:
  • Research in Higher Education Journal
  • Journal of Instructional Pedagogies

  • Globalethics.net
The Journal of Academic and Business Ethics and the Journal of International Business and Cultural Studies have been contracted for indexing with Globalethics.net.

Globethics.net is a global network of persons and institutions interested in various fields of applied ethics. It offers access to a large number of resources on ethics, especially through its leading global digital ethics library. In addition, it facilitates collaborative web-based research, conferences, online publishing and active sharing of information. Globethics.net aims especially at increasing access to ethics perspectives from Africa, Latin America and Asia. It strengthens global common values and respect of ethical contextual diversity (source - Globalethics website, 2010).

    Google Scholar
Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research.(source - Google Scholar website, 2010). Google Scholar lists individual manuscripts, not complete journals. Consequently, neither all manuscripts nor journals are listed therein. Check the Google Scholar website for individual journals and article titles.
